The present-day Holy Ghost Church was dedicated on July 8, 1943. However, the parish has its roots in the 1860 construction of St. Mary's Cathedral, the first Catholic Church in Denver. We guide men and women who are hoping to experience the joy of encountering the Lord through the scriptures.

The 7th June 1965, witnessed the opening service of the Church of the Holy Ghost and in 1967, the Diocese of Dublin was invited to undertake the staffing of the Parish. In July 2005 The Holy Ghost Parish changed it's undertaking and is now staffed and managed by the Northampton Diocese.
