Sep 2018 • Couples. The beach at Santo Tomas is very good for sunbathing and/or swimming as long as you pick the best spot. When we visited in late September, there were two lifeguards on duty coupled with the standard safety flags flying. The sand was clean, and the water warm and crystal clear.
